An extended rack gives that margin back. It is the difference between rearranging a hand comfortably and fighting it.
Pushers that are fixed to the rack are permanently in the way when they are not in use, and pushers that are entirely separate get lost within a year.
A detachable pusher that stores on top of its own rack solves both. It is a small piece of design and it is the difference between a set that stays complete and one that does not.
