The green runs through the acrylic rather than sitting on the surface. Practically, that means the long edges and the corners, the parts a hand touches on every single tile, look the same after five years as the untouched centre of the face.
It is the failure people notice on printed sets: the faces are fine, the edges have gone pale, and the set starts to look tired without anything actually being broken.
Mahjong is a four player game and sets are sold for four, but it is worth saying plainly because tile only listings often are not complete sets at all. This one seats a full table.
