Check the internal capacity against your set. Mahjong sets vary enormously: 144 tiles at 20 mm take a fraction of the space of 166 at 40 mm, and a case that is slightly too small is useless.

Clear acrylic shows scratches more than any other finish, precisely because you look through it. Wipe with a soft cloth rather than a paper towel, which is abrasive enough to haze it over time.
