keyboard_arrow_downEvery tile bag is sold on its outside. What matters over years is the inside, because that is where dust, crumbs and the residue from hands accumulate, and a fabric lining cannot be cleaned without washing the whole bag.
PVC wipes. A cloth run round the inside takes thirty seconds and the bag is genuinely clean, which for something in permanent contact with a set that gets handled constantly is worth more than it sounds.
Two different claims. Water resistant means a shower is survivable; waterproof means liquid does not pass. For a bag carried from a car in the rain, or one that shares a boot with a leaking bottle, the difference is the set.
Large enough for tiles and racks together, which is what keeps a set complete. Sets are lost by dispersal, and a bag that only takes the tiles leaves the racks to travel separately and eventually go missing.
It stiffens in cold. A bag left in a car overnight in winter will be rigid in the morning and should be let warm before being folded, since cold PVC creases permanently.
It also protects against liquid and loss, not impact.
Wipe inside and out. Do not machine wash. Avoid sharp folds in the material, which leave white lines that do not recover.
